Spring Grove Soccer Association (SGSA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the development of competitive youth soccer for both boys and girls, located in Spring Grove, PA.
We have youth programs with 30 teams ranging in age from 4 to 19. These teams participate in Fall and Spring in leagues through CPYSL and organized under EPYSL. Most of our highest-level teams will compete in regional tournaments in Spring & Fall seasons. Through involvement in SGSA, players develop their soccer skills, learn the value of teamwork, and make friends in the community. SGSA is an organization managed and led by volunteers from the parent community of Spring Grove and surrounding areas.
If you are interested in learning more about our programs, please contact our Club President here or through the website contact page.
The mission of Spring Grove Soccer Association is to enable children of all ages to play competitive soccer at the highest level they have the desire to achieve, in a safe and positive environment.
To provide children with an atmosphere that is emotionally healthy, physically challenging while encouraging good sportsmanship and athletic activity through the game of soccer.
To provide an atmosphere of healthy competition while teaching teamwork and cooperation, fair play, grace in winning, grace in defeat, and respect for others.
Our club supports players and teams at multiple levels of competition. We believe that for all these levels, positive results at games and in personal development flow from first focusing on individual skills and second from thoughtful team strategy. While we look to teach technically sound play, our players are encouraged to experiment and make mistakes to find their own best style.
Spring Grove Soccer Association is a youth soccer club that includes players from Spring Grove, Hanover, York, Dover, and the surrounding communities. The club currently provides two levels of team competition. Recreation provides an entry-level program for younger players, ages 5–8, who are just starting and developing their soccer skills. Travel is a more competitive level for players who are more serious about developing their soccer skills.
We welcome all players of all levels, so don't be discouraged! Please feel free to contact us through our website. We also welcome new volunteers. Previous experience is not required. Please contact us through the website or any member of the Executive Board if you are interested.
Association meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month starting at 8:00 PM during the season and at 7:30 PM during the offseason.
